Our purpose of offering this travel tour is to participate, facilitate directing our friends who are in Bitung city and surrounding areas, such as local guides, drivers, street vendors, etc. can get the impact of foreign tourists who come briefly through cruise ships.

Itinerary:

  • Pick up at the cruise ship port: You'll be met by your tour guide at the port and driven to the Tangkoko Nature Reserve, which is about a 1-2 hour drive away.
  • Explore the rainforest: Once you arrive at the reserve, you'll embark on a guided trek through the rainforest. Your guide will point out the different types of plants and animals, and you'll have the opportunity to see some of the reserve's most iconic wildlife, such as tarsiers, macaques, hornbills, and cuscus.

  • Lunch: You'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant or at a scenic spot in the reserve.
  • Return to the port: After lunch, you have time to swimming or enjoy the beach of tangkoko park, and then you have time as well to look/visit Conditions in the village, Or would you like to shop there before you return to bitung port, you'll be driven back to the cruise ship port in time for your departure.

Things to keep in mind:

  • The tours typically last for 8-10 hours.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and clothing that you can hike in.
  • Bring sunscreen, insect repellent, and a hat.
  • The best time to see tarsiers is early in the morning or late in the afternoon, as they are nocturnal animals. (on this trip we can't seen this animals, because not have enough time.)
  • Be aware that there are uneven trails and steps in the rainforest, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear.

Tangkoko Overnight tour 1N-2D   This trip is only suitable for tourists who are just on vacation, the pleasure of seeing and enjoying the beauty of the forest. If you have special interests such as wild photography, birding, documentaries and research, it should take more time.   Day 1 .
